Description

The Vienna is an 8-light two-tier crystal chandelier finished in heirloom gold, measuring 63.5cm wide and 86.4cm tall. A central clear-glass column links an upper tier of decorative crystal trim to a lower ring of eight scrolled metal arms, each arm terminating in a cut-crystal bobeche and an E12 candle fitting. The 16.3kg fitting carries hundreds of hand-strung crystal pendalogues, octagons and a faceted ball finial at the base.

Designed for formal dining rooms, entrance halls, stairwell voids and reception spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Vienna gives directional candle-style light from eight points combined with refracted sparkle from the crystal trim. The 150cm cable and supplied chain allow installation drop to be adjusted to suit double-height halls or standard dining-room ceilings. Bulbs are not supplied; eight E12 candle bulbs up to 60W each are required.

The frame is cast metal with a warm heirloom gold patina that reads closer to antique brass than bright polished gold, pairing with traditional plasterwork, coffered ceilings, panelled walls and period architectural detail. The K9 crystal trim is precision machine-cut for consistent facet angles, giving sharper light refraction than moulded glass alternatives. The two-tier silhouette places visible crystal both above and below the candle line, so the fitting reads as decorative whether the lamps are lit or not.

What bulbs does the Vienna take?

The chandelier takes eight E12 candle bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are not supplied. Most buyers fit warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K to keep total heat output low while preserving the candlelit appearance.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting is 86.4cm tall before any chain is added. The supplied chain and 150cm cable allow further adjustment, so the Vienna typically suits ceilings of 2.7m and above. For dining rooms, the base of the chandelier usually sits 75-90cm above the table.

Is it dimmable?

The chandelier itself has no integrated electronics, so dimmability depends on the bulbs fitted. Pair dimmable LED candle bulbs with a compatible LED dimmer, or use traditional incandescent candle bulbs with a standard dimmer.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Isolate the circuit at the consumer unit and let the bulbs cool. Wipe each crystal with a soft lint-free cloth lightly dampened with distilled water, or use a dedicated crystal-chandelier spray cleaner. Avoid soaking the metal frame, and dry the crystals fully before restoring power.
