How is the velvet cleaned?

Polyester velvet can be vacuumed on low suction with a soft brush attachment. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth — do not rub. Spot-clean with distilled water on a microfibre cloth if necessary, working from the outside of the stain inward. Avoid soaking the fabric and do not use household cleaners or sprays.
