Verdi 3 Light Flush Ceiling Light - Ivory Gold

The Verdi is a 45cm flush ceiling light built around a wrought metal frame finished in ivory with gold leaf accents, featuring decorative leaf scrollwork and faceted glass droplets. The frame comprises three curving metal stems radiating from a central canopy, each adorned with hand-formed metal leaves in two tones and clear faceted glass beads that catch and scatter light. Four E14 bulbs (included) sit within the metalwork, two in the centre cluster and two on outer branches.

Designed for rooms with standard or low ceiling heights where a pendant would hang too low, the Verdi mounts flush with an 18cm total projection from ceiling to lowest point. The fitting suits bedrooms, hallways, dressing rooms and smaller living spaces in traditional, country house and vintage-inspired interiors. The ivory and gold finish pairs with warm neutrals, creams and soft pastels, while the decorative metalwork provides visual interest on an otherwise plain ceiling plane.

The metal leaves are individually formed and hand-applied to the frame, giving each fitting slight variations in leaf angle and positioning. The faceted glass beads are strung on brass pins between the leaves, creating movement and reflection when light passes through them. The dual ivory and gold tones add depth to the finish — the base metal is ivory with selective gold leaf highlighting raised edges and leaf tips. At 1.9kg the fitting requires secure ceiling mounting into a joist or using appropriate fixings for plasterboard ceilings.

Are bulbs included?

Yes. The Verdi comes with four E14 LED 4W bulbs. These are replaceable with any standard E14 bulb up to 20W maximum per socket, giving flexibility to adjust brightness or colour temperature in future.

What ceiling height does this suit?

The 18cm projection makes the Verdi suitable for standard UK ceiling heights of 2.3-2.4m and lower. It works particularly well in rooms where a hanging pendant would intrude into head space or where ceiling height is below 2.4m.

Can it be installed on a plasterboard ceiling?

At 1.9kg the fitting requires secure mounting. If installing into plasterboard without access to a ceiling joist, use appropriate plasterboard fixings rated for at least 3kg. The assembly instructions include fixing guidance.

How is the metalwork cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Dust the metal leaves and glass beads with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Avoid wet cleaning or chemical sprays on the gold leaf finish, as moisture can dull the metallic coating over time.
