Description

The Vento is a 50cm ceiling fan light with four retractable blades that fold flush against the body when the fan is switched off, leaving only the central light fitting visible. The matte black body and bronze ring frame an opal acrylic diffuser housing an integrated 36W LED light with adjustable colour temperature from 3000K warm white to 6000K cool white. The fan runs on a 6-speed DC motor with reversible airflow, allowing it to push air downwards in summer or draw air upwards in winter to circulate warm air pooled at ceiling level.

Designed for bedrooms, home offices and dining rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.8m, the Vento provides both ambient lighting and year-round climate control in one ceiling-mounted unit. The retractable blade mechanism means the fan takes on a minimal profile when used purely for lighting, avoiding the visual clutter of static blades in smaller rooms. The remote control adjusts fan speed, light brightness and colour temperature without needing wall switches, and includes a timer function for automatic shut-off.

The fan body weighs 7.53kg and requires secure mounting to ceiling joists or a reinforced ceiling fixing point rated for the combined weight and motor torque. The matte black finish on the body and the bronze accent ring pair cleanly with industrial, contemporary and warm-toned interiors. When the fan is switched off, the four blades fold flat against the central body under spring tension, leaving only the light fitting visible from below. This reduces visual clutter in rooms where the fan is used primarily for lighting rather than continuous airflow.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The CCT function allows adjustment between 3000K warm white and 6000K cool white via the supplied remote control. This lets you match the light to the room's natural daylight or choose cooler task lighting for reading and office work.

What ceiling height is needed for safe installation?

The fan requires a minimum 2.4m ceiling clearance for safe operation when the blades are extended. Rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.8m are ideal. The 50cm blade diameter suits rooms up to approximately 15m² floor area.

Does the reverse function change blade direction?

Yes. The DC motor can reverse the blade rotation to draw air upwards in winter, circulating warm air that has risen to ceiling level back down into the room. In summer the standard rotation pushes air downwards for cooling airflow.
