The Vento is a 50cm ceiling-mounted LED fan light with four retractable acrylic blades that fold flush into the white housing when the motor is switched off. The integrated 36W LED panel sits behind an opal diffuser in the centre of the unit, casting a broad wash of light across the ceiling cavity. Colour temperature adjusts from 3000K warm white to 6000K cool white via the included remote control, allowing the light tone to be shifted according to time of day or task.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Vento combines ambient lighting with variable airflow in a single fixture. The six-speed DC motor runs quieter than traditional AC fan motors and includes a reverse function for winter circulation, pulling warm air down from the ceiling rather than pushing cool air across the room. The blades extend to a 50cm diameter when the fan is running, then retract to approximately 42cm when stopped, reducing visual clutter in rooms with lower ceilings or minimalist interiors.

The all-white finish covers the motor housing, canopy and blade edges, with a matte surface that resists fingerprints and dust buildup. The unit weighs 7.53kg installed and mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose with the supplied bracket. A built-in timer function allows the fan to be set to run for 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours before switching off automatically, and all functions are controlled via the IR remote rather than wall switches. Is the colour temperature adjustable?

How does the retractable blade mechanism work?

What ceiling height is required?

The unit requires a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m to allow safe clearance below the blades when extended. The drop from ceiling to the lowest point of the diffuser is 35cm with the standard downrod, extendable to 45cm if additional drop is needed.

Can the fan run in reverse for winter use?

Yes. The DC motor includes a reverse function accessible via the remote control. In reverse mode, the blades pull air upward, circulating warm air down from the ceiling rather than creating a cooling breeze across the room.
