How does the retractable blade mechanism work?

When the fan motor is off, the four blades retract flush into the housing via spring-loaded hinges, leaving only the 50cm diameter light housing visible. When the motor is switched on via the remote control, centrifugal force extends the blades outward to begin rotation. The retraction happens automatically when the motor stops.

What is CCT lighting and how is it controlled?
