Description

The Valora is a 5-light chandelier built around a curved, scalloped gold metal frame draped in dense brass chain fringe. Five lamp positions sit inside the chain veil — four G9 capsules around the perimeter and a central GU10 — backlighting the chains so the woven mesh glows from within. Overall dimensions are 30cm diameter and 60cm drop, with a 150cm cable and chain suspension above for adjustment.

The compact 30cm diameter suits smaller decorative positions where a full-size chandelier would overwhelm: above a round entrance hall table, in a stairwell, over a bedside in a high-ceilinged bedroom, or as a pair flanking a console. The 60cm body plus adjustable suspension means the fitting works in rooms with ceiling heights from around 2.6m upwards. Total weight is 5.5kg, light enough for standard ceiling rose fixings into a joist or suitable anchor.

The frame is finished in a warm brushed gold that picks up bronze, antique brass and aged metal accents already in a room, while the chain fringe softens the silhouette and shifts gently in air movement. The chains are cut at varying lengths to form a tapered cascade, longest at the centre and shorter around the outer edge, giving the fitting its waterfall profile. Bulbs are not included; pairing with warm 2700K G9 and GU10 LEDs gives the brass its richest tone.

What bulbs does the Valora take, and are they included?

The chandelier takes four 3.5W G9 bulbs around the perimeter and one 5W GU10 bulb at the centre. Bulbs are not supplied. Warm-white LEDs at 2700K-3000K give the gold finish and brass chains their warmest tone.

Is it suitable for a small room or low ceiling?

The 30cm diameter is compact for a chandelier, making it suitable for smaller spaces such as entrance halls, stairwells and bedrooms. The 60cm drop suits ceiling heights of around 2.6m and above; for lower ceilings, the chain suspension can be shortened during installation.

Can it be installed over a stairwell?

Yes. The 150cm cable and chain provide enough length for stairwell installation where a deeper drop is needed to position the fitting at landing-eye level. A qualified electrician should confirm that the ceiling fixing point can support the 5.5kg weight.

How is the chain fringe cleaned?

Dust the chains gently with a soft, dry brush or microfibre duster. Avoid pulling on individual chain strands and do not use water or chemical cleaners on the brass, as these can dull the finish over time.
