Description

The Trellis is a 380mm pendant light combining a hand-painted parchment cylinder shade with a decorative silver leaf orb and putty patina branch element inspired by twisted winter tree limbs. The pendant houses a single E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately) inside the parchment shade, which diffuses the light softly and casts a warm glow through the textured fabric.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls, the Trellis suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, with an adjustable drop between 860mm and 1211mm set on installation. The silver leaf orb sits at the junction between the chain and the putty-finished branch element, acting as both a structural component and a decorative accent. The parchment shade measures 380mm in diameter and 300mm in height, providing directed downlight and ambient glow through the sides.

The hand-painted putty patina finish on the resin branch element gives a weathered, organic appearance that pairs with rustic, country and transitional interiors. The silver leaf orb adds a metallic contrast that catches light during the day and reflects ambient light when the pendant is switched off. The combination of natural-toned parchment, aged putty and silvered metal allows the Trellis to sit comfortably in both traditional and contemporary settings without leaning heavily in either direction.

The pendant can be hung individually over a dining table or in a pair along a kitchen island. The 914mm chain allows for height adjustment during fitting, and the canopy conceals the cable run at the ceiling rose. The overall drop from ceiling to base of shade ranges from 860mm at minimum to 1211mm at maximum extension, giving installers flexibility to match the pendant height to the room proportions and furniture layout.

What bulb does the Trellis take?

The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to complement the warm tones of the parchment shade and putty finish.

Is the drop adjustable after installation?

The drop is adjustable on installation by shortening the 914mm chain to the desired length. Once the pendant is fitted and the canopy fixed to the ceiling rose, the drop is set and cannot be adjusted without re-fitting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The pendant suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For a dining table or kitchen island the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works with the 860mm minimum drop in standard 2.4m-height rooms. Higher ceilings allow the pendant to be set lower using the full 1211mm maximum drop.

Can the parchment shade be cleaned?

The hand-painted parchment shade can be gently dusted with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Avoid water or household cleaners, as the parchment is porous and can stain or discolour if dampened.
