Description
The Stono is a mains-voltage garden spike light that stakes into soil to lift a soft glow up through planting and along borders. It runs from a 220 to 240V AC supply and takes a single E27 lamp rated to a maximum of 20W, accepting GLS, CFL or LED bulbs so the output and tone are set by the bulb you choose. American buyers will know this style as a landscape spike or pathway light, a staked fitting that throws light upward rather than flooding a defined area.
Set among flower beds, shrubs and hedging, the Stono works as an accent that grazes foliage and marks the edges of a path or driveway. Because it is a spike-mounted accent rather than ambient room lighting, its reach is best judged by beam and bulb choice rather than a coverage figure: a warmer, lower-output LED gives a gentle pool around the planting, while a brighter lamp will throw further up a wall or specimen plant. Push the spike into a border or soft ground and angle the head to suit the feature you want to pick out.
Built from ABS with a granite finish, the body is rated IP65 for full weatherproofing, so it copes with exposed outdoor positions and wet weather. The ground spike fixes the fitting without tools or digging, and the E27 holder means a replacement or upgraded bulb can be fitted at any time. It weighs 10kg and measures Ø780 by 755mm overall. The Stono sits within our wider garden spike range.

Frequently Asked
Is the Stono suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, which means it is fully weatherproof and can be used in exposed garden positions and wet weather. It is designed to be staked outdoors among planting and along borders.
Can the angle be adjusted?
The head can be angled once the spike is set, so you can aim the light at a wall, plant or path feature. Push the spike into soft ground and tilt the fitting to suit the area you want to highlight.
Does it run from the mains or a transformer?
It runs directly from a standard 220 to 240V AC mains supply, so no separate low-voltage transformer is needed. The connection should be made by a competent person to a suitable outdoor circuit.
How do I keep it clean?
Wipe the granite-finished ABS body and the lens with a soft, damp cloth, with the power switched off. Avoid abrasive cleaners so the finish is not marked, and clear soil and leaf debris from around the base to keep the output even.
