Description

The Sphere is a 3-light LED semi-flush ceiling light with three polycarbonate globes finished in satin copper, satin brass and chrome, mounted on a polished chrome ceiling plate. Each 100mm globe houses integrated LEDs behind a textured inner surface that diffuses the light evenly. The combined output is 14.4W at 3000K warm white with a CRI above 90, giving accurate colour rendering suitable for residential interiors.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above where a full pendant drop would be too low, the 15cm projection from ceiling to base of the globes suits hallways, bedrooms, game rooms and children's rooms. The included RF remote control allows dimming and on/off control from anywhere in the room without needing to wire in a wall dimmer switch. The Class 1 fitting connects to standard UK mains (the driver accepts 100-265V at 50/60Hz, so it is compatible with UK 230V supply).

The three-finish combination gives the fitting a playful, multi-tonal appearance when lit and unlit. The satin copper and brass tones warm the light output slightly as it passes through the polycarbonate, while the chrome globe delivers a cooler tone, creating subtle variation across the three beams. The textured interior of each globe hides the LED array and prevents glare when viewed from below. The polished chrome ceiling plate is 30cm in diameter and weighs 2.4kg once fully assembled, requiring a secure ceiling fixing into a joist or suitable anchor.

The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor use only — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor installation or any location exposed to moisture. The integrated LEDs are non-replaceable; the fitting has an expected lifespan of approximately 25,000 hours at full brightness (around 11 years at 6 hours per day). The RF remote uses a standard battery (type specified in the manual) and has a range of approximately 8-10m depending on wall construction.

Yes. The fitting includes an RF remote control that allows full dimming control and on/off switching without needing to install a wall dimmer. The remote operates from anywhere in the room within approximately 8-10m range.

No. The LEDs are integrated into the fitting and are not user-replaceable. The expected lifespan is approximately 25,000 hours, which equates to around 11 years at 6 hours per day of use at full brightness.
