Description

This is a rectangular outdoor cushion carrying William Morris's Snakeshead design, printed across a deep indigo ground in cream and gold. The cushion measures 40 x 60cm, a bolster-style lumbar shape rather than a square, which is the proportion that supports the small of your back on a bench or fills the length of a two-seater without crowding it. The face is 100% polyester, printed with the mirrored botanical motif that runs symmetrically from a central spine, and a plain stone-blue border frames the print on all four sides.

It is made for outside. The fabric has been treated for outdoor use and the print sits well in a garden, on a patio bench, or in a summerhouse or conservatory where it catches the light. The indigo and gold read as a heritage pattern against timber and painted metal, and the shot on the garden bench shows how it works alongside the sibling colourways in the range. Indoors it is equally at home on a sofa or a window seat, and the lumbar shape makes it a useful reading cushion where a square would be too deep.
