This is a velvet door stop printed with a Scandinavian woodland scene, worked in cream against a deep berry ground. Look closely at the print and you will find hares, foxes, a leaping stag, squirrels and small birds threaded between branches, leaves and simple flowers, all drawn in a clean folk-art line. The body is soft printed velvet on the front and a plain velvet reverse in the same berry tone, and a cream velvet loop is stitched to the top so you can pick it up and carry it from room to room.
