Description

The Kichler Serene is a 432mm vertical glass wall light with a brushed brass band wrapping around the centre of a textured seeded glass panel. An integrated 16W LED inside casts 3000K warm white light both upwards and downwards through the glass, producing ambient wall wash and highlighting architectural features above and below the fitting.

Designed for hallways, bathrooms, and flanking positions either side of mirrors, fireplaces or doorways, the Serene provides functional illumination and acts as a vertical accent on the wall. The 165mm width and 89mm projection suit narrow wall spaces where a pendant or chandelier would intrude. The seeded glass texture softens the light and hides the LED module from direct view when the fitting is mounted at eye level.

The brushed brass finish on the central band minimises reflections and pairs with both warm-toned and cooler contemporary interiors. The glass panel has a layered edge profile that gives the appearance of flowing water or stacked rectangles, adding depth when viewed from an angle. The combined glass and metal construction gives the fitting a 1.2kg presence on the wall without requiring additional bracing beyond a standard UK back box.

The integrated 16W LED is rated at 3000K on mains voltage. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with Kichler integrated LED fittings.

The Serene is suitable for bathroom installation outside zones 0, 1 and 2 (typically more than 600mm from a bath or shower enclosure). Check the IP rating in the specification sheet to confirm suitability for your specific bathroom zone.

Both. The LED module inside the glass panel casts light upwards and downwards through the textured glass, producing ambient wall wash above and below the fitting. This makes it suitable for illuminating ceilings, floors and flanking positions either side of mirrors or architectural features.

What's the glass texture like?

The glass has a seeded texture with tiny air bubbles throughout, giving it a soft, diffused appearance when lit. The layered edge profile creates a flowing, water-like effect when viewed from the side.
