Description

The Senzo is a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor that switches connected lighting on automatically when it detects movement, then off again after a set delay. The article code marks it as an IP20 indoor unit on a compact 102mm white plastic body, running on a standard 220-240V AC mains supply. As a PIR motion sensor it suits hallways, landings, utility rooms and stairwells where hands-free, presence-based switching saves running lighting needlessly.

Measuring 102 × 102 × 60 mm, it mounts neatly into a circuit ahead of the fixtures it controls. The IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor positions, away from splashes and damp. We also stock a range of other PIR motion and daylight sensors to suit different mounting points and detection needs.

As a passive infrared sensor, the Senzo detects body heat moving across its field of view. Position it so the area you want covered falls within its line of sight, with no large obstructions blocking the path of movement.

What is the maximum load it can switch?

Check the supplied technical sheet for the rated load before wiring. Keep the total wattage of the connected lighting within that limit so the sensor and circuit are not overloaded.

Can the time and light level be adjusted?
