Description

The Rocio is a 14-light cluster pendant from Schuller, suspending fourteen individual transparent glass drops from a 50cm circular chrome canopy. Each drop is solid glass with internal bubble texturing, housing an integrated LED module that produces warm 3000K light. The combined 70W output provides 6,720 lumens across the full cluster, making this suitable as primary lighting in dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights between 2.7m and 4.5m.

Each glass drop hangs on an individually height-adjustable cable, allowing the cluster to be configured in a spiral, staggered or cascade arrangement during installation. The drops are set at varied lengths out of the box, creating a vertical column effect between 100cm minimum drop and 300cm maximum drop. Bluetooth dimming control via smartphone app allows scene programming and brightness adjustment without requiring mains dimmer switches, giving flexibility for mood lighting and task-to-ambient transitions.

The bubble texture within each glass drop refracts the LED point source, diffusing direct glare and casting soft highlights onto nearby wall surfaces. The chrome canopy and cable suspension system add 17.6kg total weight, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced rose. The transparent glass and chrome finish pair cleanly with contemporary, industrial and mid-century interiors, and the cluster format provides visual interest without requiring ceiling recess depth.

Rated IP20 for dry indoor use only. The 100-277V input voltage range supports both UK 230V mains and alternative supply voltages where applicable. Energy efficiency class F under current EU/UK regulations reflects the integrated LED technology.

Is the Rocio dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED system is Bluetooth dimmable via smartphone app, allowing brightness adjustment and scene programming without requiring a mains dimmer switch. The app connects directly to the pendant's internal controller.

What ceiling height is required?

The pendant ships configured for a 170cm drop but is adjustable between 100cm minimum and 300cm maximum. For typical residential rooms with 2.4-2.7m ceilings, the minimum 100cm setting works. For double-height spaces or stairwells with 3.5-4.5m ceilings, the extended drop creates better visual proportion.

How are the glass drops arranged?

Each of the fourteen drops hangs on an individually adjustable cable, allowing custom configuration during installation. The factory setting creates a spiral cascade effect. You can reconfigure to a tighter cluster or more evenly spaced pattern depending on the room and sightlines.

What weight capacity is needed for ceiling fixing?

The complete pendant weighs 17.6kg. Secure the ceiling rose to a joist or use a plasterboard fixing rated for at least 25kg. Standard ceiling roses are not sufficient without reinforcement.
