Description

The Rapero is a 198cm standing sculpture of a hooded figure cast in fiberglass and polyester resin, finished in high-gloss chrome with a gold-mirrored face. The figure stands on a black rectangular plinth measuring 81cm wide by 50cm deep, with the chrome body reflecting ambient light and colour from its surroundings while the gold face provides a fixed warm accent. An integrated 3W LED inside the hood casts 340 lumens of 3000K light onto the gold face, creating a backlit glow effect when switched on.

Designed as a statement sculpture for contemporary and industrial interiors, the Rapero suits entrance halls, double-height living spaces, loft-style apartments and commercial lobbies where ceiling height allows for pieces approaching 2m tall. The 33kg weight and plinth base give stability on hard floors and short-pile rugs without needing additional fixing. The Rapero stands 198cm tall on its plinth. Standard UK residential ceiling heights of 2.4m provide adequate clearance, though rooms with 2.7m or higher ceilings allow the piece more visual breathing space. The sculpture can be placed against a wall or freestanding in a room centre.

Is the LED dimmable?

The 3W integrated LED runs on 220V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific mains dimmer used. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer circuit to confirm compatibility with this Class 1 fitting.

How is the chrome finish maintained?
