Description

The Prismara is an 8-light crystal chandelier built around a gold-finish metal frame with eight curved arms, each tipped with an E14 candle-style bulb holder. Transparent hand-blown glass forms the inner structure of each arm, with a gold-toned interior finish visible through the clear outer layer. Cut crystal droplets hang from bobeches beneath each bulb position and from a central crystal bowl at the chandelier's core.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights above 2.4m, the 735mm diameter suits tables up to 1.8m in length or floor areas of 12-16m². The 505mm body height excludes the suspension chain, which is adjustable on installation to set the chandelier 700-900mm above a dining surface or 2.1-2.3m above finished floor level in a hallway. The eight E14 bulbs provide distributed light across the frame rather than focused downlight, making the Prismara better suited to ambient lighting than task illumination.

The gold finish on the metal frame and glass interiors reflects warm tones under incandescent or warm-LED bulbs, creating a glow that complements traditional and classical interiors. The cut crystal elements refract and scatter light when the chandelier is lit, adding visual depth. Each crystal droplet is individually hung on metal pins, allowing replacement if needed. The IP20 rating limits the chandelier to dry indoor locations — not suitable for bathrooms or covered outdoor spaces.

What bulbs does the Prismara take?

The chandelier takes eight E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair it with candle-shaped LED bulbs between 4-6W in warm white (2700K-3000K) to match the gold finish. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

What room size does it suit?

The 735mm diameter works well over dining tables up to 1.8m in length, or in rooms with floor areas of 12-16m². For smaller dining areas or bedrooms, the proportions remain balanced. Larger rooms or longer tables may benefit from the 12-light Prismara variant or two 8-light units spaced along the ceiling.

How is the chandelier cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow bulbs to cool fully. Dust the metal frame and glass arms with a dry microfibre cloth. For the crystal droplets, wipe gently with a barely-damp cloth and distilled water, then dry immediately to avoid water spots. Individual crystals can be removed from their pins for cleaning if needed.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The chandelier is designed for horizontal ceilings. Installation on sloped or vaulted ceilings requires a ceiling canopy adaptor and may cause the chandelier to hang at an angle, affecting the visual symmetry of the arms and crystal droplets.
