Priscila 12 Light Glass Cluster Pendant Light - Gold

The Priscila is a 12-light cluster pendant suspending twelve textured glass cubes on individual adjustable cables from a 90cm diameter satin gold ceiling canopy. Each cube houses a G9 LED bulb (12x 10W supplied), and the textured glass surface diffuses light while creating faceted highlights across the cube faces. The cables drop from 120cm to 400cm, allowing the cluster to be configured as a tight vertical spiral or a relaxed staggered arrangement depending on ceiling height and the width of the space below.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, stairwells, dining rooms with 3m+ ceilings, and hotel lobbies, the Priscila works where a large vertical drop can be exploited and where the fixture itself becomes a sculptural centrepiece. The 90cm canopy diameter and 21.8kg total weight require structural ceiling mounting — a standard plasterboard rose will not support this fitting. The satin gold finish on the canopy and cable hardware pairs with the warm metallic tone visible inside each glass cube when lit.

The textured glass cubes measure approximately 80-90mm per side, giving each element enough presence to read individually from floor level when the cluster is suspended at full drop. The mixed geometry of square glass and circular canopy adds architectural contrast that suits contemporary, Art Deco and eclectic interiors. The IP20 rating restricts installation to dry indoor environments only — this is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas.

The supplied G9 LED bulbs are integrated into the purchase, so the pendant is ready to install and use without separate bulb sourcing. The bulbs are user-replaceable if they fail, but Schuller specifies G9 LEDs only — halogen G9 bulbs generate excessive heat in the enclosed glass cubes and may damage the fixture.

Are the LED bulbs included?

Yes. The Priscila ships with 12x G9 LED bulbs pre-installed. The bulbs are user-replaceable if they fail, but only G9 LED bulbs should be used as replacements — halogen G9 bulbs generate too much heat inside the enclosed glass cubes.

What ceiling height is required?

The pendant can be configured between 120cm and 400cm drop. For a full-length cascade effect in an entrance hall or stairwell, a ceiling height of at least 3.5-4m is recommended. Shorter drops work in standard 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights if the cluster is configured as a tighter spiral.

What mounting is needed for the 21.8kg weight?

The 21.8kg weight requires a structural ceiling joist or concrete ceiling with appropriate fixings. A standard plasterboard ceiling rose will not support this pendant — a spreader plate or joist-mounted bracket is typically needed. Professional installation is strongly advised.

Can the cable lengths be adjusted individually?

Yes. Each of the twelve cables has an individual cable grip that allows height adjustment during installation, so you can create a staggered waterfall effect or group some cubes closer together than others depending on the visual effect required.
