Description

The Polaris is an 81cm ceiling fan light with an integrated CCT-adjustable LED module that shifts colour temperature from 3000K warm white to 5000K cool daylight. A white acrylic diffuser sits beneath three white composite blades, delivering airflow and ambient light from a low-profile 26cm housing that suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.5m without overwhelming the space.

Designed for bedrooms, studies and smaller living rooms where ceiling clearance is limited, the Polaris runs on a six-speed DC motor with reverse operation for summer cooling and winter heat recirculation. The included remote control operates fan speed, light brightness, colour temperature, timer and breeze modes. Memory function restores previous settings when the fan is switched off at the wall and back on again.

The white metal body and white composite blades form a continuous monochrome appearance that recedes against white or light-coloured ceilings. The 22W LED module delivers 1.2 lumens (note: specification data suggests this may be a typographical error for 1200 lumens, please verify before installation). The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor spaces only. Weight 2.98kg requires a secure ceiling fixing into joists or a reinforced ceiling rose.

The 26cm height and 81cm blade diameter mean the fan needs a ceiling height of at least 2.3m to maintain the recommended 2.1m minimum blade-to-floor clearance. Rooms with 2.4-2.5m ceilings are optimal.

Can the colour temperature be adjusted?

Yes. The CCT function allows colour temperature adjustment between 3000K warm white and 5000K cool daylight using the remote control. Each setting is retained in memory when the fan is switched off.

Does reverse operation work for winter heating?

Yes. The DC motor supports reverse rotation, which pushes warm air that has risen to the ceiling back down into the room during winter. This can improve heating efficiency in rooms with radiators or underfloor heating.
