The Hinkley Plantation is a three-light chandelier built around a polished antique nickel cast frame decorated with pineapple and foliate motifs. Three curved arms rise from a central column topped with a decorative pineapple finial, each arm terminating in an E14 candle fitting covered by a cream fabric bell shade. The 546mm diameter frame hangs from an adjustable chain that allows the total drop to be set between 890mm and 2415mm on installation.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and medium-sized living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Plantation functions as both general and decorative light. The three E14 fittings take candle-style bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately), and the cream fabric shades soften and diffuse the light across the space. The 890mm minimum drop suits rooms where the chandelier needs to sit 700-800mm above a dining table, while the 2415mm maximum drop allows the fitting to work in double-height hallways or vaulted ceilings.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is adjustable during installation by shortening the chain to the desired length between 890mm and 2415mm. Once installed and the ceiling rose is closed, the drop cannot be adjusted without removing the rose and re-threading the chain.
