Description
The Planos is a 130x130cm square-format acrylic painting built from layered textured panels arranged in a geometric grid. Each rectangular section carries a different surface treatment — some heavily textured with visible brushstrokes and impasto, others smoothed with washes of grey, taupe and pale blue — and several panels incorporate silver leaf accents that catch and reflect ambient light.
Designed as wall art for living rooms, hallways and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Planos works as a single large-format piece above a sofa, sideboard or console table. The 130x130cm footprint suits walls between 2.5-3.5m wide, giving balanced proportion without overwhelming smaller rooms. The painting arrives stretched on a 3.5cm-deep wooden frame, ready to hang on a single D-ring or wire fixing.
The cool-toned palette — soft greys, warm taupes, muted blues and off-white — pairs well with contemporary, industrial and Scandinavian interiors where neutral tones dominate. The silver leaf fragments add reflective movement that changes as natural light shifts through the day, making the surface appear more dynamic than a flat acrylic wash. At 3.97kg the painting is light enough for typical plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings.

Frequently Asked
Is the painting ready to hang?
Yes. The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame with a 3.5cm depth and arrives with a D-ring or wire fixing on the back. The frame edges are finished so the painting can be hung without an additional outer frame if preferred.
What wall fixings are needed?
At 3.97kg the painting requires two wall plugs and screws rated for at least 5kg each on plasterboard, or a single picture hook on solid masonry. For plasterboard walls use cavity fixings rather than standard wall plugs.
How should the silver leaf be cleaned?
Wipe gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. The silver leaf is sealed under a protective acrylic layer but avoid wet cleaning or chemical sprays, which can dull the reflective surface over time.
What room size does it suit?
The 130x130cm format works best on walls between 2.5-3.5m wide, typically in living rooms, dining rooms or bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In smaller rooms the painting may dominate; in very large open-plan spaces it may benefit from being paired with additional wall art.
