Description

This ZONA MINI motion sensor is a passive infrared (PIR) detector that switches connected lighting on when movement is detected, then off after the set period. It runs on a 220-240V AC mains supply and measures Ø110 by 27 mm, with a plastic housing in black so it sits discreetly on a wall or ceiling. As a control component it does not light a space itself; it triggers the fittings wired to it.

Rated IP65, it is sealed against dust and water jets, so it can be fitted outdoors as well as in porches, entrances, garages and other sheltered or exposed positions. Mount it where it has a clear line of sight to the approach you want covered, clear of heat sources that could cause false triggers. What is the detection range and angle?

It is a passive infrared sensor that detects body heat moving across its field of view, so position it facing the route you want monitored. Keep its line of sight clear of obstructions and heat sources for reliable triggering.

What is the maximum load it can switch?

Always check the connected load against the sensor's rated switching capacity before wiring. Spreading several fittings across one sensor is fine provided their combined wattage stays within that limit.

Can the time and light level be adjusted?
