Description

The ALER N-B is a PIR (passive infrared) motion sensor that detects movement and switches connected lighting on automatically. Decoded from its article code, it carries an IP65 rating for outdoor and damp locations and measures 120mm along its compact 80 x 52 mm plastic body. It runs on a 220-240V AC mains supply, making it a straightforward addition to an existing lighting circuit where automatic on/off control is needed.

Finished in black to sit discreetly against walls, soffits and entrance areas, it suits driveways, porches, passageways and outbuildings where hands-free switching adds convenience and security. The IP65 housing keeps out dust and water jets, so it holds up to rain and exposed positions. Wire it inline with the fittings it should control and position it to cover the approach path you want triggered. We also stock other motion and daylight sensors to match different detection ranges and mounting needs.
