Description

The LR1 is a cell most people only go looking for once a device has asked for it by name. This is a single Panasonic LR1: an alkaline cell with a nominal output of 1.5V, supplied on its own retail blister card. The front of the pack reads Micro Alkaline 1.5V, and the cell under the plastic carries the LR1 marking on its own label, so you can hold it against the one you are taking out and be sure of the match before you fit it.

LR1 is a specialist size rather than a household staple, and that is the whole reason to buy it deliberately. Panasonic prints two use icons on this card, a timepiece and a hand held remote control, which gives a fair sense of the sort of small equipment the cell is bought for. Before you order, read the code moulded or printed on the cell you are replacing, or check the figure quoted in your device manual. If it says LR1, this is the cell.
