Description

The Palma is an outdoor cushion built around a hand-painted, printed tonal botanical leaf design, with soft fronds spread across the front of a 43 x 43cm square. It is made from 100% polyester chosen for outdoor life: the fabric is UV-resistant so the colours hold up under summer sun, and water-resistant so a passing shower or a spilled drink does not soak straight in. The face you see here reads as deep green, with the leaves picked out in sage, cream and pale grey; the reverse carries the same drawing in inverted colours, so one cushion gives you two looks.

This is a cushion for the garden, the patio or a covered porch, and it works just as well brought indoors on a conservatory chair or a bench by the back door. Because both faces are finished, you can flip it to change the mood of a seating group without buying a second cushion, and it sits happily alongside plainer weathered-grey or natural seat pads.
