Ottilia 12 Light Crystal Chandelier - Gold

The Ottilia is a 65cm diameter semi-flush crystal chandelier with a gold-finished metal frame supporting 12 E14 bulb fittings (bulbs sold separately). The metal ring features a perforated decorative pattern around its circumference, with multiple tiers of faceted crystals hanging from the frame in graduating sizes. A single larger crystal drop hangs from the centre as a finial.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Ottilia works in dining rooms, sitting rooms, entrance halls and master bedrooms where both ambient and decorative light is wanted. The 34cm drop from ceiling to base positions the fitting close to the ceiling plane, making it suitable for standard UK ceiling heights where a full chandelier drop would sit too low. The 12-bulb configuration provides enough light output to serve as the primary source in rooms up to 25-30m² when paired with 4-6W LED candle bulbs.

The crystals are machine-cut with faceted edges, catching and refracting light from the 12 bulb positions across the metal frame. The gold finish on the metal is a warm-toned plating over the base metal construction. The perforated ring pattern adds visual weight to the upper portion of the chandelier, balancing the mass of the crystal drops below. At 65cm width, the fitting suits dining tables of 150-180cm length or can act as a centrepiece in a 4m × 4m room without overwhelming the ceiling plane.

What bulbs does the Ottilia take?

The chandelier takes 12 E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most customers pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient dining room or bedroom lighting.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 34cm drop from ceiling to base makes this a semi-flush fitting rather than a full chandelier drop. It works in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights without hanging too low into the space.

Can the crystals be removed for cleaning?

The crystals hang from the metal frame on individual hooks and pins. They can be carefully removed for cleaning with a dry microfibre cloth, then re-attached. Handle gently to avoid chipping the faceted edges.

What size room does it suit?

The 65cm diameter works in rooms from 16-30m² depending on other light sources. For a dining table, it suits table lengths of 150-180cm. In a sitting room or bedroom the fitting provides ambient light without requiring wall or floor lamps as supplementary sources.
