The Ophelia cushion is built around a woven jacquard botanical design, where the pattern is worked into the cloth on the loom rather than printed on top. Against a soft off-white ground, stylised seed heads, blooms and leafy stems climb in muted blue and warm sandy beige, with a corded piped trim following the seam all the way round. It measures 50 x 50cm, the most useful square size for a sofa or bed, and it is made from 100% polyester.

This is an easy cushion to place. The pale ground keeps it light in a room, so it sits comfortably on a grey or neutral sofa, a wooden armchair or across the foot of a bed, and the blue and beige give you two colour threads to pick up elsewhere in cushions, throws or a nearby lampshade. The look is a relaxed take on country style, at home in a living room, a reading corner or a bedroom, and it works alongside natural wood and woven textures such as a jute rug. It is reversible, so the same design shows on both faces and you can turn it over without losing the pattern.
