Nori 4 Light Chandelier - Dark Weathered Zinc with Driftwood Grey Beads

The Nori is a 435mm diameter chandelier combining a dark weathered zinc metal frame with cascading strands of driftwood grey wood beads. Four E14 candle-style bulb fittings sit inside an open bowl frame, suspended on an adjustable chain from a matching ceiling canopy. The wood beads drape from the upper ring to the lower bowl, adding texture and softening the hard metal lines.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m, the Nori suits traditional, farmhouse and transitional interiors where a mix of metal and natural materials is wanted. The 740mm minimum drop positions the chandelier approximately 650-750mm above a dining table in a standard-height room, while the 2296mm maximum drop accommodates higher ceilings or stairwell installations. The four E14 fittings accept candle bulbs up to 40W each, giving flexibility to choose filament, LED or frosted bulbs depending on the desired light effect.

The dark weathered zinc finish on the metal frame shows intentional variation and distressing, mimicking aged ironwork. The driftwood grey beads are turned wood with a matte finish that absorbs light rather than reflecting it, creating visual weight without the gloss of painted finishes. The combination of textured metal and organic wood gives the fitting a layered appearance that reads differently depending on viewing angle — the beads conceal much of the frame from below while the structure remains visible from the side.

What bulbs does the Nori take?

The chandelier takes four E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft ambient effect, though clear filament bulbs are also popular for a more decorative look.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The 1524mm chain allows the chandelier to be set anywhere between 740mm and 2296mm total drop during installation. The chain can be shortened by removing links or looping excess inside the canopy.

How is the chandelier cleaned?

The wood beads collect less dust than crystal but should be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth every few months. The weathered zinc frame can be cleaned the same way. Avoid water or cleaning sprays on the wood beads as they can cause staining or swelling.

What room size does it suit?

The 435mm diameter works in dining rooms or entrance halls between 3m x 3m and 5m x 5m. In smaller rooms the chandelier can feel large; in much larger spaces it may appear undersized unless grouped or paired with additional lighting.
