Description

The Nocturne is a 50cm linear LED wall or ceiling light with an extruded aluminium body in white and an opal polycarbonate diffuser. An integrated 7W LED runs the length of the fitting at 3000K, casting warm white light evenly along the diffuser. The fitting projects just 16.5mm from the mounting surface, making it one of the slimmest linear LED fittings available for wall or ceiling installation.

Designed for corridors, hallways, bathrooms and stairwells where a low-profile continuous light source is needed, the Nocturne can be mounted horizontally on a wall or ceiling or vertically next to mirrors and doorways. The 50cm length provides enough light spread to illuminate a 2-3m corridor section or a 1.5m bathroom vanity area without needing multiple fittings. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor locations only.

The white powder-coated aluminium body resists corrosion and remains cool to the touch even after extended use, while the opal polycarbonate diffuser hides the LED strip behind it and prevents glare. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer, allowing light levels to be adjusted from full output down to 10-20% depending on the dimmer model. Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when used with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Dimmer compatibility varies by model — trailing-edge dimmers generally perform better with LED fittings than leading-edge models.

Yes. The Nocturne is designed for dual mounting, either horizontally along a wall or ceiling, or vertically next to mirrors, doorways and other vertical surfaces. The fixing method is the same for both orientations.
