Description
Mr. Bubble is an 82cm sculptural floor lamp cast from fibreglass and polyester resin, finished in polished gold and set on a green marble plinth. The figure holds a single opal acrylic sphere above its head, housing a 28W G9 bulb that emits 550 lumens at 3000K through the diffused shade.
Designed by Schuller as a statement piece for residential interiors, gallery spaces and hospitality lobbies, the sculpture functions as both ambient lighting and decorative art. The opal sphere diffuses light in all directions, providing soft general illumination rather than task lighting. The figure stands 82cm tall with a 34cm depth footprint, making it suitable for floor placement alongside sofas, in entrance halls, or as a focal point in a sitting room corner.
The gold-gloss finish on the resin body creates strong reflections under natural light and a warm metallic accent under artificial lighting. The green marble base adds 5.07kg of weight to the overall structure, giving the piece stability on hard floors and short-pile rugs. The sculptural form references mid-century figurative art while the polished finish and oversized proportions give it a contemporary presence in both neutral and colour-rich interiors.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The lamp uses a single G9 bulb rated at 28W, emitting 550 lumens at 3000K. The bulb is included with the sculpture. Replacement G9 bulbs are widely available should it need replacing in future.
Is the sculpture stable on carpets and rugs?
The green marble base and 5.07kg total weight give the piece stability on hard floors and short-pile rugs. On thick or shag rugs the sculpture may benefit from being positioned where the base sits on a firmer surface to prevent tilting.
Can the sphere be replaced if damaged?
The opal acrylic sphere is a fixed component of the design. In the event of damage, contact Schuller or Niori for replacement part availability. The sphere is not designed to be user-removable during normal use.
How is the gold finish maintained?
The polished gold-gloss resin can be wiped clean with a dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable. Avoid abrasive cleaners, chemical sprays or furniture polishes, as these may dull or damage the high-gloss finish over time.
