Description
The Mireya is a 34cm wall light built from a curved polished nickel frame with a cascading veil of fine metal chains draped across the front. Six E14 LED lamps sit behind the chain curtain, casting light through the metal strands so the veil itself glows and shifts in tone as the viewer moves past. The wavy top and bottom edges of the nickel frame echo the fluid motion of the chains, giving the piece a sculptural rather than purely functional silhouette.
Designed as a decorative wall light for hallways, dining rooms, hotel lobbies and bar areas, the Mireya works well flanking a large mirror, lining a feature wall, or punctuating a long corridor where flat lighting would feel static. The 21cm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of doorways and circulation routes, while the vertical format suits narrow wall sections between artwork, panelling or joinery.
The fitting weighs 2.5kg and runs on 230-240V mains. Six low-wattage 6W E14 LED lamps give a combined output suited to ambient and accent use rather than primary task lighting, and the layered chain veil softens the lamps into a diffuse glow rather than point-source glare. The polished nickel reads cooler than chrome and pairs comfortably with marble, smoked glass, dark timber and matt black accents.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Mireya take?
The fitting takes six E14 (small Edison screw) lamps, each rated at 6W LED. Bulbs are typically supplied with the fitting, but check the listing or contact us to confirm before ordering. Warm white 2700K-3000K LEDs suit the nickel finish best and bring out the glow through the chain veil.
How far does it project from the wall?
The Mireya projects 21cm from the wall and stands 34cm tall. The depth keeps it clear of most doorways and circulation routes but is worth checking against narrow corridors before fitting.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No IP rating is listed for the Mireya, so it should be treated as a standard interior wall light and kept out of bathroom zones, shower areas and other locations exposed to steam or moisture.
How are the chains cleaned?
Dust the metal chains gently with a soft, dry brush or microfibre duster. Avoid pulling at individual strands during cleaning, and do not use household sprays or polishes on the chain veil or the polished nickel frame.
