Description

The Mireya is a 6-light wall fitting built around a curved metal frame wrapped in a dense veil of fine champagne brass chains. Six E14 lamp holders sit inside the body, each taking a 6W LED bulb, with the chains acting as a fringed diffuser that breaks the light into a soft, warm wash. The shaped top and base caps in brushed champagne metal hold the chain curtain in place and give the fitting a tailored silhouette against the wall.

At 34cm tall and 21cm wide, the Mireya works as a feature wall light in hallways, dressing rooms, powder rooms and boutique hotel-style bedrooms where a decorative fitting is wanted in place of a plain sconce. The 2.5kg weight allows mounting on standard plasterboard with appropriate fixings, and the 230-240V mains wiring runs back through the wall in the usual way for a hardwired sconce.

The chain curtain is the defining feature: thousands of fine brass strands hang from the top cap to the base, twisting slightly under their own weight so the surface catches light and shifts as you move past. The champagne tone sits between brushed brass and rose gold, pairing with cream, taupe and warm-grey walls without the high reflectivity of polished brass. The Mireya takes 6 x E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs rated up to 6W LED each. Bulbs are typically sold separately - check the listing for the current bundle. A warm-white 2700K-3000K LED suits the champagne tone of the chains.

Is the chain veil fixed or does it move?

The chains hang freely from the top cap to the base cap, so they sway slightly when touched or when air moves past, then settle back into their twisted drape. They are not loose individual strands - the top and bottom are anchored, giving controlled movement rather than tangling.

What rooms does the 34cm height suit?

At 34cm tall and 21cm wide, the Mireya is a small to medium wall light. It works either side of a bed as a decorative alternative to bedside table lamps, in pairs along a hallway, beside a dressing mirror, or as a single feature on a blank wall in a powder room or entrance.

How is it cleaned?

Dust the chain veil gently with a soft long-bristle brush or a hairdryer on a cool setting to lift dust without disturbing the strands. Avoid wet cloths or sprays directly on the chains, as this can cause individual strands to clump together.
