Description

This microwave motion sensor (article code MERGE-WT-O-B) is a compact occupancy control for switching lighting on automatically when movement is detected. Unlike an infrared unit, it uses microwave (MW) detection, sensing motion across a wider area and through thin barriers. It runs on a 220-240V AC mains supply and measures Ø76 by 49 mm, with a plastic housing in black.

Rated IP65, it stands up to dust and water jets, so it suits sheltered outdoor entrances, porches, garages and damp utility spaces as well as indoor locations. Wired in line with a compatible luminaire, it switches the load on movement and off again after the set period. We also stock a range of PIR and daylight sensors to suit different detection patterns and mounting needs.
