Description

The ROLF JQ-O is a microwave motion sensor for automatic lighting control indoors. Decoded from its article code, this is the IP20 Jq O variant, a compact ceiling unit measuring Ø96 × 42 mm in a white plastic housing. It runs on a 220-240V AC mains supply and uses microwave detection rather than PIR, sensing movement through its high-frequency field to switch a connected load on when motion is present and off again after the set delay.

Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor positions such as hallways, landings, stairwells and storerooms, where hands-free switching saves energy.
