Description

The MERGE MW-L is a microwave motion sensor that switches connected lighting on when it detects movement within range. Decoded from the article code, it runs on a 220-240V AC mains supply and measures 80 x 47 x 80 mm, making it a compact fit for ceilings, hallways, stairwells and utility areas. Unlike a PIR unit, a microwave sensor sweeps the area with a low-power radio signal, so it can detect motion through thin partitions and reacts well to subtle movement.

Built from white plastic, it carries an IP20 rating, which keeps it to dry indoor positions rather than exposed or damp locations. It wires in line with the lighting circuit it controls and suits automatic on/off switching for corridors, landings and store rooms. We also stock a range of PIR and daylight sensors for other detection and switching needs.
