Description

The Micron is a 3-light cluster pendant with oval shades wrapped in fine bronze metal mesh, suspended from a matt black ceiling plate on adjustable black fabric cables. Each shade houses a clear acrylic cylinder with internal bubble detailing that diffuses light from an integrated 5W LED (15W total across three shades), casting warm 3000K light through the mesh to create a textured glow rather than direct downlight.

Designed for kitchen islands, bar counters and dining tables, the three pendants can be arranged in a straight line or staggered at different heights depending on the suspension points on the 36cm canopy. The adjustable cables allow a minimum drop of 65cm and maximum of 145cm, making the fitting adaptable to ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. The IP20 rating limits the Micron to dry indoor locations only.

The bronze finish on the metal mesh provides a warm metallic accent that contrasts with the matt black canopy and cable sleeves, while the clear acrylic inserts add a contemporary detail when the light is off. The mesh construction means the shades are lightweight despite their substantial visual presence, and the combined 2.15kg weight is easily supported by a standard UK ceiling rose. The integrated LED driver supports both TRIAC (leading/trailing edge) and 0-10V dimming protocols, allowing the fitting to be controlled by most standard UK dimmer switches without requiring specialist components.

Yes. The integrated LED driver supports both TRIAC (leading/trailing edge) and 0-10V dimming protocols, making it compatible with most standard UK LED dimmer switches without requiring additional components.

Can the cable lengths be adjusted?

Yes. The cables are adjustable on installation between a minimum drop of 65cm and maximum of 145cm, allowing the fitting to be adapted to different ceiling heights and the three pendants to be set at staggered or level heights.

What installation height works best?

For a kitchen island or dining table, position the lowest point of the shades 700-800mm above the worktop or table surface. This typically requires a ceiling height of 2.4m or above when using the minimum 65cm drop setting.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor locations and must not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or other areas where it may be exposed to moisture or steam.
