Description

The Mercury is a 2-gang extension lead with a 2m white cable, rated at 13A per socket and fitted with a non-rewireable UK 3-pin plug. The twin sockets accept standard UK BS1363 plugs and are positioned side-by-side on a compact white moulded housing.

Designed for desk setups, workbenches, bedside tables and kitchen worktops where two appliances need power from a single wall socket without reaching for a multi-gang tower or trailing a longer cable across the floor. The 2m cable length allows the extension to sit on a desk or worktop while plugged into a socket mounted at skirting level, or to reach from a wall socket behind furniture to a position 1.5-2m away.

The white cable and housing blend into neutral-toned walls and furniture without standing out visually. The non-rewireable plug is moulded onto the cable during manufacture, so there are no removable screws or accessible internal wiring once the product leaves the factory. The 13A rating means each socket can handle appliances drawing up to 3,120W, though the combined load across both sockets should not exceed 13A (3,120W total) when both are in use simultaneously.
