The Mercury is a plug-through mains adaptor that adds two USB-A charging ports to a standard UK 13A socket while maintaining the original mains outlet on the front face. The adaptor plugs directly into the wall socket, providing a 13A-rated pass-through socket and two USB ports in a single 84 x 53 x 70mm white plastic housing.

Designed for charging phones, tablets, e-readers and similar portable devices without occupying the mains socket, the Mercury sits between the wall and any standard UK plug. The dual USB-A ports share a combined 2400mA output, allowing simultaneous charging of two devices at typical USB speeds. The pass-through socket on the front accepts any standard UK 13A plug, so the wall socket remains available for kettles, lamps, chargers or other mains-powered equipment.

The compact design projects 70mm from the wall once plugged in, keeping a low profile behind furniture or along skirting boards. The white finish matches standard UK electrical accessories. The adaptor conforms to BS1363 and BS EN 62368-1 safety standards, with internal overcurrent protection for the USB charging circuit.
