Maya is a slim upright ceiling light, 18cm across and 44cm tall, so the light sits lower and closer than a wide fitting would, without hanging on a drop. A single E27 lamp does the work here, giving an even ambient glow rather than a tight pool. The anthracite finish is a deep charcoal grey that holds its own against white plaster and pale paint, and it stays matt rather than turning glossy under light. Its sealing against dust and splashing water widens the rooms it can sensibly go in.

We would put this over a covered porch, in a shower room, or in a utility where steam and fine dust are part of the daily run of things. The narrow footprint also earns its place in a hallway or on a small landing where a broader fitting would crowd the ceiling, and it repeats neatly along a corridor. How should I clean the anthracite finish?
