Description

The Marmo is a 3 light pendant chandelier combining a gold-plated geometric frame with natural alabaster stone discs. The frame consists of a central vertical rod flanked by two rectangular panels, each holding an oval alabaster disc between them, with a third circular disc suspended at the centre. Three E14 bulb fittings sit inside the alabaster elements, turning the stone itself into the diffuser.

Designed for dining areas, entrance halls and kitchens with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Marmo provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The 30.5cm diameter makes it suitable for tables 1.2-1.6m in length or hallway positions where a centred pendant is needed. The adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set between 72.7cm and 92.7cm from the ceiling to the base of the frame, giving 600-800mm clearance above a dining table in a typical 2.4-2.7m ceiling room.

Each alabaster disc shows natural mineral veining and tonal variation from the quarried stone, so no two Marmo chandeliers look identical when lit. The gold-plated metal frame has a warm metallic finish that pairs with warm whites, creams, deep greens and traditional wood furniture. The geometric frame structure contrasts with the organic curves of the alabaster discs, making the fitting work in both contemporary and eclectic interiors. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

What bulbs does it take?

The Marmo takes three E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to complement the alabaster and gold finish.

Is the drop adjustable on installation?

Yes. The pendant can be set between 72.7cm and 92.7cm total drop from the ceiling rose to the base of the frame. For a dining table the pendant typically hangs 700-800mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each alabaster disc is cut from natural stone, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual chandeliers. This is a characteristic of the natural material, not a defect.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Marmo to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, or outdoor covered areas.
