Description

This is the corner piece for the Magneto recessed range, a compact L shaped joint that turns a straight run of track through a right angle. The body is square, roughly 11cm on each side, and it is finished in black to sit quietly against the track it joins. It holds no lamp of its own; it is a fitting-out part, there to give the run its shape. We keep it alongside the recessed track itself, so a corner can be planned in from the start rather than worked around later.

It earns its place wherever a single line of light will not do. Kitchens are the usual case: track above the worktop that needs to carry on round to the island or the far wall. Hallways that meet at a corner, galleries and display shelving, and open-plan rooms where the lighting follows the plan of the space all ask for the same turn. It suits anyone building a run to fit the room rather than accepting a straight length and hoping the light reaches.

The finish is a flat black across a small housing, and the low profile keeps the joint in proportion with the recessed sections either side. Keeping it clean is a matter of a dry brush or cloth over the visible edge now and then, with the power off at the switch. It carries a three year warranty. Within the range there are also wall to wall joints, inside and outside, for the same recessed track, along with 1m lengths of that track, a driver and a dimmable controller. Black throughout, so a run reads as one piece.
