Description

This outdoor cushion carries a hand-painted jungle scene: a poised leopard stretched along a branch on a rich gold ground, framed by tropical foliage, trailing orchids and peonies, with a hummingbird darting in at the top. It is made from 100% polyester, printed in the UK, and finished as a square cushion measuring 43 x 43cm. The face is the hero, and the reverse is a coordinating printed leaf design on the same gold, so it reads well whichever way it falls.

It is built for outside. The polyester is water resistant and the print is UV resistant, which means it is meant to shrug off a passing shower and hold its colour through a summer of direct sun rather than fading to a washed-out yellow by August. That makes it a sensible choice for a garden chair, a bench, a rattan sofa or a covered veranda, and it works just as well brought indoors onto a sofa or a reading chair. The warm gold sits happily against black metal furniture, natural rattan and greenery, and it pairs with the green colourway of the same design if you want the two together.

The cover closes with a hidden zip, so there is no visible fastening to interrupt the print and the cover can come off when you want to freshen it up.
