Description
The Leda is a 48cm flush ceiling light built around a curved metal frame in polished gold gloss, wrapping a central opal glass diffuser. Three E27 bulbs sit behind the glass, providing ambient light that disperses evenly across the room rather than directing down in a spotlight pattern. The fitting sits 10cm from the ceiling, making it a low-profile option for rooms where pendant lights would hang too low.
Designed for hallways, bedrooms, and living rooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m, the Leda delivers functional overhead lighting without the visual mass of a pendant or semi-flush fitting. The opal glass softens the light output from the bulbs, reducing glare and creating a warm glow that reflects off the polished gold frame. The fixture arrives with three E27 LED bulbs rated at 10W each (2.7 lumens combined), and includes gravity toggles for secure installation on plasterboard ceilings.
The polished gold finish provides a warmer metallic tone than brass or bronze, leaning towards a yellow-gold hue that pairs with warm-toned interiors, darker woods, and cream or ivory wall colours. The curved frame adds a sculptural element to what would otherwise be a plain disc of glass on the ceiling. At 3.8kg the fitting requires secure fixing to ceiling joists or appropriate plasterboard fixings — the included gravity toggles are rated for hollow ceiling installation.

Frequently Asked
Does it come with bulbs?
Yes. The Leda includes three E27 LED bulbs rated at 10W each. These bulbs are pre-installed and ready to use on connection to mains power.
What ceiling height does it suit?
The 10cm projection makes this fitting suitable for rooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m where pendant lights would hang too low. It works well in hallways, bedrooms, and living rooms that need overhead lighting without losing headroom.
Can the bulbs be replaced with different wattages or colour temperatures?
Yes. The fitting accepts standard E27 bulbs up to 20W per socket. You can replace the supplied 10W LEDs with higher-wattage LEDs or different colour temperatures (e.g. 4000K for cooler white light) as needed.
Is it suitable for bathroom use?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture and should only be used in dry indoor environments. For bathrooms you need an IP44-rated or higher ceiling light.
