Description

The Knightsbridge LEDFWIFI is a WiFi-enabled controller for 12V and 24V LED flex strips, compatible with single colour, RGB, RGBW and CCT configurations. The controller connects to standard 2.4GHz WiFi networks and uses the Knightsbridge app to manage brightness, colour selection, scene programming and scheduling directly from iOS or Android devices.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the controller supports grouping of up to 100 controllers within a single app account, allowing multi-room LED flex systems to be managed from one interface. Voice control integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant provides hands-free operation without requiring a separate hub or gateway. Standard wall switches override the app control, so existing switching can remain functional during installation or when app access is unavailable.

The 95mm x 44mm x 24mm white polycarbonate housing carries an IP20 rating, restricting use to dry indoor locations such as cove lighting, under-cabinet installations, wardrobes and display shelving. The 150mm cable connects to the LED flex via push-fit or screw terminals depending on the flex type. WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity enable initial pairing via BLE before switching to WiFi for ongoing control.

Functions available through the app depend on the LED flex type connected: single colour flex supports dimming and scheduling; RGB flex adds colour selection and scenes; RGBW adds independent white channel control; CCT flex provides variable colour temperature adjustment between warm and cool white. The controller requires a stable WiFi signal for reliable operation and does not function offline once initial pairing is complete.
