How is the cover removed and replaced?

The rocker cover clips onto the underlying switch mechanism. To remove, gently lever it off from the bottom edge using a flat-head screwdriver or your fingernail. The replacement cover snaps into place by pressing firmly until you hear or feel it click.

Can the lettering wear off?
