The Kali Leopards rug puts two hand-painted leopards at its heart, sitting back to back amid lush jungle foliage, ringtailed lemurs, and sprays of bright pink flowers on a warm gold ground. The design is digitally printed onto a flatweave polyester base, which holds the fine detail of the artwork, the individual spots, the leaf veining, the graduated pinks, without losing definition. It measures 120 x 170cm, a size that sits comfortably in front of a sofa, under a coffee table, or across a patio seating area.

This is an outdoor rug first, and that shapes where it earns its place. Polyester is inherently water-resistant and quick to shed moisture, so it suits a balcony, a terrace, or a covered patio where an ordinary rug would struggle. It is light enough to fold and carry, which makes it as much at home on a picnic blanket run or a beach afternoon as it is by the back door.
