The Junco is a 235cm arc floor lamp built around a single carbon fibre arm that extends 160cm horizontally from a compact weighted base, suspending a conical black textile shade above seating or reading positions. The carbon fibre construction keeps the entire fitting to 12.36kg despite its 2.35m height and 1.6m reach, allowing it to cantilever over a sofa or armchair without tipping. The lamp takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately) and casts light downward through the fabric shade.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and offices where overhead ceiling fittings are impractical or absent, the Junco arc lamp positions light exactly where it's needed without drilling into ceilings or running new wiring. The 160cm horizontal reach allows the shade to sit centrally over a three-seater sofa when the base is placed behind one end, or directly over a reading chair positioned away from walls. The base footprint of 55cm depth requires clearance behind furniture but gives enough mass to counterbalance the extended arm.

What bulb does the Junco take?

The lamp takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for reading or accent lighting.

Will it tip over with the arm extended?

The 55cm deep weighted base is engineered to counterbalance the 160cm carbon fibre arm and 12.36kg total weight. The lamp remains stable on flat floors when assembled correctly, but should not be placed on thick rugs or uneven surfaces where the base cannot sit level.

What ceiling height is needed?

The lamp stands 235cm tall with a height range of 232-240cm depending on adjustment during assembly. Ceiling heights of 2.5m or above are recommended to avoid the shade sitting too close to the ceiling.
