Description

The JQ is a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor that switches connected lighting on when it detects movement, then off again after a set period. It runs on a 220-240V AC mains supply and is built in white plastic, measuring Ø76 by 73 mm so it sits neatly within a fitting or against a surface. As a PIR unit it reacts to the heat signature of people passing through its field, making it a practical control for automatic on and off switching.

Rated IP20, this sensor is for dry indoor positions such as hallways, landings, stairwells, utility rooms and entrances, kept away from rain and direct splashing. It wires in line with the load it controls and suits anyone wanting hands-free lighting that responds to occupancy.
