Jax 10 Light Starburst Chandelier - Burnished Brass

The Jax is a 705mm diameter starburst chandelier with ten burnished brass arms radiating from a central sphere, each arm terminating in a G9 bulb socket and an opal glass globe. The ten integrated 3W G9 LEDs (included) provide 3000K warm white light distributed evenly across a 360-degree spread, suited to ambient lighting in dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m, the Jax hangs on an adjustable cable allowing a minimum drop of 477mm and a maximum drop of 1700mm. The burnished brass finish sits between polished brass and antique brass in tone, offering a warm metallic accent without the high reflectivity of polished metal or the darker patina of aged finishes. The chandelier weighs approximately 3.5kg and fits standard UK ceiling roses.

Each of the ten arms extends 350mm from the central sphere and tapers from a wider base to a narrower tip, creating the starburst profile associated with mid-century and Art Deco-inspired lighting. The opal glass globes at each arm tip diffuse the LED light and soften glare when the chandelier is viewed from below. The fitting height of 429mm (the body itself, excluding the drop cable) makes the Jax visually substantial without overwhelming rooms with 2.7-3m ceiling heights when hung at the minimum drop.

Are the bulbs included and replaceable?

Yes. The Jax comes with ten 3W G9 LED bulbs pre-installed at 3000K warm white. The G9 bulbs are replaceable if one fails, though integrated LED fittings typically last 15,000-25,000 hours before requiring replacement.

What ceiling height is needed?

The chandelier suits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m. At the minimum 477mm drop the fitting works in standard 2.4m ceiling rooms. For taller rooms or positioning above a dining table, the cable can be extended to the maximum 1700mm drop during installation.

Can the drop be adjusted after installation?

The drop is set during installation by cutting the cable and chain to the desired length. Once installed, changing the drop requires re-wiring. The specification states 'Height Adjustable: On Installation', meaning it must be set at fitting time.

What diameter table does it suit?

The 705mm diameter chandelier pairs well with round dining tables between 1200mm and 1600mm diameter, or rectangular tables 1400-1800mm long. The general rule is the chandelier should be 50-75% of the table width to maintain visual balance.
