Description
The Inoa is a 159cm floor lamp with five opal glass globes arranged along a matt black metal stem rising from a circular weighted base. Each globe houses a G9 halogen or LED bulb (sold separately), giving a combined 5 x 10W maximum load. The frosted opal glass diffuses the light output, turning each globe into a soft ambient source rather than a directed task light.
Designed for living rooms, hallways and reading corners where vertical space allows, the Inoa works as both a light source and a sculptural accent. The staggered arrangement of the globes—three positioned centrally on the stem, two offset on short arms—creates visual rhythm without requiring symmetry in the surrounding furniture. The 34cm diameter footprint fits beside a sofa, in a corner flanking a bookcase, or between two armchairs without occupying floor space equivalent to a side table.
The matt black finish on the metal stem and base absorbs light rather than reflecting it, giving the lamp a defined silhouette against lighter walls. The opal glass is acid-etched rather than painted, so the finish is uniform across the surface and won't chip or peel with handling during bulb changes. At 6.7kg the lamp has enough mass to remain stable on carpet or hard flooring without tipping when globes are reached during cleaning or bulb replacement.
The Class 2 double-insulated construction means the lamp does not require an earth connection, simplifying installation into standard UK 3-pin plugs. IP20 rating limits the Inoa to dry indoor use only—it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor covered areas, or anywhere moisture or splashing is present.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Inoa take?
The lamp uses five G9 capsule bulbs, each rated up to 10W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED capsules at 3W-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light without the heat output of halogen.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. G9 LED bulbs vary in dimmer compatibility—check the bulb packaging for 'dimmable' labelling and pair with a trailing-edge LED dimmer for best results.
What ceiling height is needed?
At 159cm tall, the Inoa suits rooms with standard UK ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. In lower-ceilinged rooms the top globe may sit close to the ceiling plane, but this does not affect function as the light is diffused rather than directed upwards.
How is the lamp assembled?
The lamp arrives flat-packed. Assembly involves attaching the stem sections to the base, securing the globe arms, and fitting the opal glass shades. Full assembly instructions are included—see the Downloads tab for a PDF guide.
